今年は4/1～9/1の応募期間で国内外53の国と地域から
一般部門164作品、学生部門322作品、合計486作品の応募がありました。
First Select（一次審査合格作品）は以下になります。
First Selectに選ばれた作品は、12/21（木）渋谷センター商店街にてレッドカーペット。
12/22(金)、23(土)、24(日)に渋谷ユーロライブで上映〜舞台挨拶〜表彰する予定です。
また、12/24(日)の渋谷ユーロライブにて全作品上映後に、2/10（土）、2/11(日)開催のCLIMAX佐世保進出ゴールデンバーガー賞NOMINATE 08（一般部門）、と長崎県知事賞NOMINATE 03（学生部門）を発表する予定です。

01 Shoe Lover (東京)
昭和54年。靴職人である三島華蓮の家には、お盆のために親戚一同が集まっていた。子どもたちの面倒を見ていた華蓮は、従姉妹の梢が、将来の夢を父親に反対されているため、諦めかけていることを知る。華蓮は“物語”と称して自分の話を聞かせはじめる。
自身の幼少期を梢に追体験させる華蓮。それは、幼い頃から靴を愛し、時代の風潮や抑圧により夢を反対され、大きな代償を払ってでも、靴職人を目指し貫いた彼女の姿だった。

08 The Ice Age Sauna (東京)
In 2169, the earth will cool down and enter an ice age. The story is set in the year 2180 when a young man Suzuki (24) visits a guest house “Roman” in Hachioji, Tokyo, where he meets the owner Honda (51) and his daughter Koyuki (24). Honda is wary at first, but Koyuki is intrigued by the tent sauna brought by Suzuki. Three people enjoying a tent sauna in a pure white snowy landscape. Honda and Koyuki are overwhelmed with euphoria and cry.

高校最後の夏。進路を決められないまま、ダラダラと過ごす主人公・冬子。そして唯一の理解者である親友・ノエル。進学するのか、しないのか。この街を出るのか、出ないのか。騒がしい周囲に反するように、あえてのらりくらりと日々を送る二人だったが、行く末を定めつつあるノエルの様子に、苛立ちや焦りを募らせる冬子。行き着いた満開のひまわり畑で、二人は大きな岐路を迎えるーーー。

主人公は林と海に囲まれた自然豊かな環境で過ごしている。ある日、妹が変わり果てた姿で海岸から帰ってくる。妹は心が固い石のように閉ざされてしまっていた。原因が分からずに途方にくれる主人公だが、ニュースで話題になっていた拾うと幸福になれる石の話をきっかけとして、自分の家系に妹を元に戻すヒントがあることに気づく。

東京オリンピックを見て、もし動物がオリンピックを行う映像を作ったら面白そうだと考え、ヤギの人形が体操競技をする映像をヤギンピックというタイトルで制作し、映像制作の楽しさを知る。手作りの動物の人形を題材に制作した作品が鶴川ショートムービーコンテストにて、2年連続U-18賞を受賞。姉妹で映像制作を行っており、姉は監督、妹は音楽を担当。見た人が幸せになれる、そんな作品を今後、作っていきたいと考えている。

Cheung Tak-hung has neither professional ambition nor material desire. All he cares about is creating a cloud of his own. But before Hung could accomplish his goal, he dies in his sleep. He wakes up to find himself in a flight to the afterlife, where the flight attendant tells him that witnesses will be called to ascertain whether his life had any meaning. 高校2年生のユーキは、気づけば学校に行けなくなってしまっていた。自分でもどうしたらよいかわからず、父親とのコミュニケーションもうまくいかず、日々を無為に過ごしていたある日、従姉妹のエリコが訪ねてくる。海獣学者のエリコは、クジラのストランディングの調査にユーキを連れ出すことにする。彼らの姿を見て、ユーキの中で何かが動き始める。

長崎の学生映画制作団体「SeaCaT」は、毎年映画制作を続けている団体だ。主人公である立花佳奈（塩田みう）もまた、自身が監督する作品の準備を続けていた。そして来たる2020年、コロナウイルスが世界を襲う。「不要不急」の煽りを受け世界中が自粛ムードに犯される中、佳奈たちにもまた、その猛威が襲いかかる。大学では夏季休暇中のサークル活動禁止が発表され、撮影を中止することを余儀なくされた佳奈だったが…

She is currently doing her MA in visual communication at the Department of Design in Bergen (KMD). She is focusing on storytelling as her artistic practice which might have a discussion of sustainability and ethics in a humorous way. Her styles of artistic research are followed by multidisciplinary and multicultural study, which can contribute to expressing the complexity of the context in storytelling. With her strong interest in the materiality of textiles and papers, she explores the possibility of how they could last as long as possible or how they could be up-cycled in her artworks.

Kaylee Tan, born and raised in Singapore, pursued computer animation in Florida, earning a BFA from Ringling College of Art and Design in 2023. Her professional journey includes freelancing as a CG Generalist at Hornet, working as a 3D modeler for Hasbro and Disney Creative Group sculpting workshops. She is also honored as the recipient of the Women in Animation 2022-2023 Scholarship. Kaylee’s dedication extends to volunteering for Asians in Animation and Children First, where she authored and illustrated the picture book, “You Can. YOU CAN!” Her passion lies in crafting heartwarming stories and using her animations to inspire positivity.

My first one “The teacher” has been selected in severalas Festivals arround the world. I’m ready for whatever the futur bring to me in this amazing world of animation.

私は小さい頃から日に5本観るくらい映画が大好きで、どうしても自分でも映画を撮りたいと思い、脚本を書き、家族や友達に協力してもらって、今作で初めて自分の監督作品を作る事になりました｡【受賞･入選歴】TBSホールディングス主催「第24回 デジコン6 JAPAN 2022」ユース部門で監督賞を受賞。「第35回東京国際映画祭」入選 (アマゾンプライムビデオ「テイクワン賞」ファイナリスト選出) など。
